Great location in the heart of the city, surrounded by lively streets with lots of bars and restaurants. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The common area was cozy and had a good kitchen.
The mattresses on the bunk beds were very uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. The bathrooms were small and there was only one that wasn't in the rooms.

The hostel is very central above all the bars in Quay St.
The central location is a bit of a drawback in terms of noise coming from the street. This was particularly bad as I was there on the day of the Volvo ships race and the streets were packed until the wee hours.

We loved the hotel's central location in the heart of the town, surrounded by local events and entertainment. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, especially Anthony, who knew everything about the city. The hotel facilities were good, and the room was clean.
No complaints.

Check in was straight forward and Karen was very welcoming and had some great recommendations for our stay in Galway. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. Location was right in the hub of the nightlife.
Shower in our room was generally cold and didnt drain. Bathroom in our 2nd room was a wet room and ended up flooding everywhere. It was very hot in our 6 bed dorm during the night. The window couldnt be left open as the street below was so noisy (the triple glazing on the window did keep things very quiet when they were closed). Air conditioning really necessary. Cleaning staff on our checkout day were very rude and abrasive. Knocking on the door and barging in after about 2 seconds.

If you're staying in Galway look no further! Located in the centre of the city right next to the Quays bar this is the perfect spot to experience Galway. Staff are amazingly friendly and the atmosphere here is superb! I was staying over Christmas and apart from everyone joining in on the Christmas day swim, a beautiful Christmas dinner was provided along with music from the manager's brother and guest staying!

We stayed at a hostel in the middle of town that was close to the pubs and everything else. the location was great for exploring all the city had to offer. the staff was helpful and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and spacious. the kitchen was big and had free coffee, which was a plus.
The breakfast only offered cereals and toast.

This hotel fulfilled my luxurious needs with its exclusive amenities and impeccable service. the room was spacious and had private facilities, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. the location advantage of being in the heart of the city increased the value of my trip.
The breakfast service fell a bit short with limited options. I struggled to find a table as the seating was limited and it tarnished the experience.

close to city center for shopping and going out at night and close to the quays
all rooms ensuite so noise at night when people go to the bathroom / no common bathroom and if you need the toilets when someone is showering you have to wait too long / on the pubs street so very noisy at night outside and in the corridors when people come back drunk

Security was very good and I liked having a female dorm. Location was in great part of town, although away from bus terminal, which wasn't a problem.
